A primary purpose of this site is to provide a community resource to better define the community name of Berkshire Forest and to better explain how it is being used in integration with other ongoing Carolina Forest new housing development. New development in Carolina Forest is rampant and it can be challenging for both current residents and future homeowners to keep track of the evolution of the communities. As of April 2024, there were a total of 1,875 property owners in Berkshire Forest. This includes all single family homes, condominiums, and townhouses. This figure does not include Pulte owned properties/lots in Berkshire Forest that have not yet been sold.

Berkshire Forest is a community in Carolina Forest, South Carolina. Locals will identify Berkshire Forest as a community that originally began development by Centex. Pulte then merged with Centex back in 2009. Homes in the Berkshire Forest community of Carolina Forest subsequently began to be built under the brand name of Pulte.
